Propeller De-Icing Controller

The PDC powers propeller de-icing boots according to a time schedule while monitoring their electrical current and alerting the cockpit crew via two annunciation lights about operation and/or failure. Up to two levels of de-icing can be selected from the cockpit. Their time schedules as well as working current range can be easily adjusted to boot specification and required application.

From its introduction in 2006, the PDC has proven itself on just about every Epic LT ever built, plus several Lancair IV's and Evolutions flying today. Though installed primarily by the factory during the build process, the PDC is easy to retrofit, whether turbine or piston aircraft.
