The DX2 is the latest evolution of our engine and systems display and is a drop-in replacement for the DX1, its immediate predecessor. For displays before the DX1, only panel cutouts need to be enlarged as all versions produced share the same electrical connector and pinout.

The original product was conceived as cost-effective pilot usable engine gauges capitalizing on the sensors used and parameter collection done by TSLM units providing auto start for M601 engines.

Since then the product grew to not only support TSLM auto start for the TPE-331, but any other turboprop, -shaft or -fan through parameter collection LRUs like the TM1. At the same time synoptic pages for non-engine related systems were added as new LRUs were developed, including FSM, PDC, and the SGC units.

Annunciation.. mode selection.. diagnostic troubleshooting.. fuel totalization computer

A shared CAN bus network is the primary means by which the DX2 and previous displays communicate with remote LRUs. Apart from information thus obtained the DX2 also directly interface and extract sensor information, including fuel flow, fuel pressure and two fuel levels. The table below summarizes the functionality:
